I am both blessed and honored to be a closed classroom fifth grade teacher through the Pacific Alliance for Catholic Education. The subjects I teach include Math, Science, Social Studies, Reading, Writing, Spelling, Religion, and Technology. During my second year at Immaculate Conception School I have thoroughly enjoyed growing and learning with my students, especially through my graduate research on the lived experience of the EthEx character development program. My first year of teaching came with many challenges. Through a great deal of perseverance and effort, we made it through and had a great time too! My principal and University Supervisor both said one of my greatest strengths is my openness to feedback coupled with consistency in providing effective results. I teach because I enjoy the challenge and fruits of working to learn and learning to work. There is a ton of joy in my classroom, and my students even tried to nominate me to be President of the United States of America! I hope to teach at the intermediate grade levels for the next twenty years, all the while growing as a teacher, and a mentor. Show less

I valued my time working at Baskin Robbins. Customers seemed to always enjoy coming in to te shop, and I always greedted them with a smile and an open heart. The primary lesson I learned while working at Baskin Robbins was how to work as a team, and how to really enjoy your bosses. They, along with my many other mentors through life, helped me to understand the value of hard work, and integrity. I have been blessed to have had many wonderful supervisors, and it all started at Baskin Robbins. Show less
