  Accepting a role with no structured Quality Department was challenging and extremely rewarding. Developing CtQ KPI's that made sense and were easily reportable sped the process for continuous improvement, but doing it while the company nearly double in size and more than doubled in sales was immensely satisfying. Building validations into established manufacturing processes lowered claims PPM numbers that were already approaching world class. Assessing and developing employees to strengthen a succession plan with ASQ certified employee has eased my departure. Quality Supplier Award recognition from our customers within four years, while quite an achievement, wasn't as impressive as increasing team involvement and focus. Show less
