I worked as a Software Engineer in the Premier Automotive Group, a small team of engineers developing software for Bluetooth Phone Modules for use in Aston Martin, and Jaguar / Land rover vehicles. During this time I obtained a good working knowledge of Bluetooth, and the CAN protocol and MOST bus which are both used in automotive systems. I worked in a small team engineers responsible for the maintenance and development of the Sony MHEG Engine. Our aim was to ensure that the MHEG engine is complaint to the DVB 1.06 profile, and optimised to be the best performing MHEG engine in any receiver.
