    • Leadership Team
      • Sep 2014 - Present

Since 2009, Mark and his wife Beccy have lived, worked, and recreated in Kennebunk. They love the people, culture, and way of life here along the coast. Wanting to contribute to the health of the community, Mark soon began volunteering with COS and also assisting the founding Executive Director. A few years later, COS asked Mark to take the role of Executive Director where he currently serves. Mark also serves as one of the pastors at Seven Mile Road Church in Kennebunk. • Head of School
      • Aug 1993 - Sep 2009

As the founding Head of School, I was primarily responsible for the administration and implementation of the school’s mission, philosophy and financial development. I was also responsible for the oversight and management of personnel, curriculum, programs and student body in the day-to-day operations of the school. I also had the opportunity to successfully lead the Academy to become dual-accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). In September 2009, I retired from the position and was honored with the role of Head of School Emeritus for 16 faithful years of service. I was indeed privileged to work with an incredible group of people at GHCA.
