We are still evolving our AED (Architectural/Engineering Design) program of study, but we have a ways to go making the program full length and promoting Non-traditional enrollment. We have heavy enrollment for our Project Lead The Way- Intro to Engineering Design and Principles of Engineering in the High School as well as facilitating significant numbers of students enrolled from our Ninth Grade Academy PLTW-IED classes and all of our STEM curriculum lends to those students wishing to concentrate on the Skilled Trades professions of Engineering Graphics. We hope to integrate a great deal more student leadership training and bring about a greater amount of participation in our College Career Technical Student Organizations (e.g. SkillsUSA, TSA, Vex Robotics and through the NASA HUNCH program, etc.) We are kicking it in every way! We posted tremendous accomplishments during our third of a century teaching career for the system and the institute where my career and profession truly got it's start. We served in many capacities in service to the students of Madison County, Alabama. First and for most a mentor, roll-model and teacher, but also I got to coach football, be a VICA-Skills USA adviser, job placement coordinator, SDE curriculum Developer, Robotics sponsor, and many other wonderful opportunities that afforded me opportunities to lead students down paths of learning and ultimately some of life's successes for them and me.
