As a tutor with the Paul Menton Centre, I assisted students who required some form of academic support with their university courses. This typically involved helping them understand materials from their courses and helping them develop effective strategies and skills in fulfilling course requirements independently. Additionally, I also reviewed student assignments and helped them correct errors by pointing out where they were located and giving them ideas on how they could be improved.

As a teaching assistant at Carleton University, I've been responsible for supporting professors in running undergraduate- and graduate-level courses. This has primarily involved running tutorials and labs for students each week, as well as holding regular office hours to meet with them and answer any questions they may have about the course materials and/or requirements. I have also been responsible for evaluating and grading student assignments and tests, as well as monitoring in-class tests and exams. On some occasions, this has also extended to running guest lectures for the professor if they have been unable to be present as normal.Courses Supervised:- PSCI 2701: Introduction to Research Methods in Political Science- PSCI 2702: Quantitative Research Methods in Political Science- LAWS 3908B: Approaches in Legal Studies II- INAF 5011: Policy Process and International Affairs- INAF 5013: Research Design and Methods for International Affairs- HIST 3414: History of the United States in the World- GINS 3010 A & B: Global and International Theory

While working in Mr. Cotler's office, I was responsible for a variety of tasks associated with Parliament. This included responding to correspondence from Mr. Cotler's constituents in the Mount Royal riding, scheduling appointments and interviews, and helping to arrange events such as press conferences by booking the necessary venues and inviting people. I was also charged with helping to prepare Mr. Cotler for regular hearings as a vice-chair of the Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on International Human Rights (SDIR) by researching topics and preparing questions to ask expert witnesses during hearings. These research duties also extended to the writing of op-ed pieces on human rights issues and other subjects of interest to Mr. Cotler, such as the then-ongoing P5+1 nuclear negotiations with Iran. Finally, I drafted several motions and Questions on the Order Paper for to be presented to the House of Commons on several subjects, such as the use of solitary confinement in the Canadian penal system.
