Have had 2x2 years contracts now on a 12 month renewable contract, local terms.. Appointed as Human Resources Director for the Turks and Caicos Islands Government, on a two year contract, originally in October 2012, . Was Acting as HRD for 5 months, prior to this, and resigned from the UK Civil Service to take up Contract here direct for the Government. All areas of Government covered, except the Police Force. Approximately 2000 civil servants. All HR Resposibility for the whole of the Civil Service, Change management, HR Strategy, Policy, Proceedures, Training, Recruitment, budgets, and every other aspect of HR Management, capacity building, Employee Relations. Am a member of the Permanent Secretaries Board, and my role is Perm Sec level within Government. Report to the Deputy Governor who is the Head of the Civil Service. Show less

Was on secondment to the Turks and Caicos Islands Government in the Caribbean, for 12 months, in a change management capacity, managed a redundancy programme, assisted with the restructuring and reductuion of Ministries, recruited new Permanent Secretaries and Deputy Permanent Secretaries, participated in a number of reform activities, and acted as Human Resources Director for last 5 months. At CMEC was hired to manage the Employee/Industrial Relations strategy and aspects of a major change programme, which never happened. My role eventually was absorbed in the old organoisation that moved back into the DWP. Took the opportunity to stay on in the Turks and Caicos Islands.. Show less
