SPI Dynamics - 2003 - 2007 (#2 exec, grew business from 0 to $20M revenue, led expansion to broaden market focus to the software lifecycle while building partner ecosystem that directly led to the competitive sale of the business to HP (via the Mercury Interactive business in HP Software) in 2007). HP Software - 2007 - 2011 (made GM and VP of business post-sale after leading the integration in to HP. Grew the business from $20M to $100M revenue over 4 years. Acquired Fortify Software and combined in to the Application Security business unit. In 2010 picked by HP SW leader to join the senior exec team to create HP's Enterprise Security Products division, bringing together multiple acquired and organic assets in to one organization. Folded in my business (SPI and Fortify) as well as Arcsight, Tipping Point and some HP native security software to build a $1B security products business with its own brand, sales & marketing teams, product/eng teams, etc. Was one of 5 "strategic growth" projects from HP's CEOs at the time - Mark Hurd then Leo Apotheker.
