      Mark started his career upon graduation at the Victorian Forensic Science Laboratory where he worked as a Technician and Scientist. In 1983, he joined BHP Petroleum as a Chemist, working his way through Senior Chemist to Chief Chemist. In 1994, he joined Skylab Technologies Limited as a Senior Research Scientist working on their oil solidification technology. Whilst working at BHP Petroleum, Mark became a National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA) Technical Assessor and Chairperson of their Fuels and Lubricants Technical Group. He was also asked to be a member of the NATA, Chemical Testing Accreditation Advisory Committee. In 1996, Mark joined ChemSkill, a diversified, technical Consultancy that offers services through its three Divisions - Recruitment, Consulting and Training. Over the last fourteen years, Mark has specialised in the area of regulatory affairs. He has attended and continues to attend seminars, training sessions and other functions relating to TGA, APVMA, NICNAS/AICIS and FSANZ. As a Senior Consultant with ChemSkill his main responsibilities include: - Consultation in the regulatory areas of the TGA, APVMA, NICNAS/AICIS & FSANZ. - Diversified consultancy in the areas of Quality Systems (PIC/S GMP, NATA, ISO 9001), Dangerous Goods, Hazardous Substances, Labelling of Poisons and Preparation of Material Safety Data Sheets. - Representation of ChemSkill at various TGA and associated industry meetings relating to change of legislation. - GMP training of staff for various companies Australia wide. - Audits of premises involved in the manufacture, packaging and shipping of medicinal/pharmaceutical products.
