Participated as project team member responsible for designing, building and operating the Timken Company's Faircrest Steel Plant. Project Leader of a 10 man team of mechanical, electrical and process engineers, and scientists that developed methods to improve slag retention, heat transfer analysis, and historical data tracking to benefit the Timken Company and their partners. Project Leader in the hazardous waste reduction project that earned the Ohio Governor’s Award for hazardous waste reduction and produced a 20% reduction of disposal cost for Timken. Project consisted of 3 engineers, 20 draftsmen, and over 40 contractors to coordinate the removal, modification, re-installation of the new design in a limited 10 day implementation window.
