Mark is a passionate and self-driven ambassador of the lean management philosophy. His understanding of the lean approach is superb, both from the practical and theoretical angle. What is more important, is that he can communicate it very well to people in the C-suite as well as on the shop floor and his passion for 'lean' is viral. If you're looking for a consultant who'll get your operations team on-board with 'lean-thinking', Mark is a great choice.

Mark Forkun is a person I would highly recommend as a business coach, interim management professional as well as lean manufacturing and problem-solving trainer. I have had the pleasure of working with him during one of his interim management and coaching assignments, at the Cezar Ltd. company. He is not only friendly and easy to get on with, but also creative and very professional. All those qualities make him very effective in delivering real business value to his clients. Mark is also a talented business trainer. The training sessions prepared and conducted by Mark for the polish ACCA office were really delivering value for participants, in an easy and user-friendly way.

Here, I will be posting my thoughts, reflections and experiences on how to build very successful and sustainable organisations. Many will relate to leadership values in business, but I also hope to be more open and engage your interest in the meaning and purpose of work and how we should be striving to continuously improve to be the person we could be from the one we are today. That is not to say we should not like ourselves, but to be grateful for the moment we are in and reach out to a better self. This approach, which is not new, will draw on my experiences at Toyota, as well personal beliefs which were the bed rock of my upbringing. From a business perspective, there is nothing wrong in making the numbers, what is important is how you make those numbers. The Lean Leadership Way Institute and YOKOTEN are two additional activities I have co-founded and manage so as to enable leaders to build the businesses they want from the one they have. Show less

That is not to say we should not like ourselves, but to be grateful for the moment we are in and reach out to a better self. This approach, which is not new, will draw on my profound experiences I had at Toyota as well as on my beliefs which were the bed rock of my upbringing. From a business perspective, there is nothing wrong in making the numbers, what is important is how you make those numbers. The Lean Leadership Way Institute and YOKOTEN are two additional activities I have founded and run so as to enable leaders to build the businesses they want from the one they have, always, starting with self.
