In December of 2009 I was offered yet another great opportunity with Willoughby Supply and took the roll of the Production Coordinator/Supervisor for the Metal Fabrication Division. We moved our facility from our Mentor branch to our Middleburg Heights branch in order further our growth with a new facility.From 2009-2012 I coordinated/supervised custom metal fabrication for the Willoughby Supply Metal Fabrication Division. Principles used included Lean Manufacturing, capacity planning and continuous process improvement. In this time, scrap rates of the raw material being used were reduced by 40%, an 88% production efficiency for hours worked was achieved and inventory accuracy rates reached 98%. Show less
