In this capacity, I lead teams in the design, development, and purchasing of stamping tools, mold tooling, and automated assembly equipment according to verbal and written specifications ensuring alignment with company specifications. I contribute subject matter expertise in secondary assembly processes for construction of robots and special machines. I also supervise machines and equipment on the metal slitting line, maintaining accuracy to specified tolerances. I oversee maintenance and modifications to dies and molds, including electrical and hydraulic components. I coordinate die runs for transfer, progressive, and line injection mold tools up to 1,800 tons, both single cavity and stack. Some of my accomplishments include:• Spearheaded automated processes for company resulting in ability to build components in-house, eliminating need for outside contractors and achieving cost savings for the company.• Obtained patent on solar roof ventilator (Patent US D666,707).• Traveled throughout the U.S. and Canada, forging solid partnerships with stakeholders in these areas.
