  * Oversee $300M annual spend for critical raw materials, process and water treatment chemicals, packaging materials, and toll compounding and grinding services.* Lead team of Commodity Managers located in Canada and the US who buy a broad range of materials such as monomers, solvents, catalysts and catalyst components, polymer additives, antioxidants, silicones, flame retardants, peroxides, blowing agents, etc.* Develop and maintain short and long-term global buying strategies for each commodity which deliver the best overall value to NOVA in terms of costs, quality, and new supplier technology.* Ensure approriate commodity Risk Management strategies are employed and critical supply chains are managed effectively to keep all production facilities operating without any supply disruptions.* Ensure raw material inventories are optimized against demand.* Ensure supplier relationships are strong and collaborative.* Drive integrated buying activities with joint venture partners and Licensees to maximize buying leverage in key commodity areas.
