  In 2005 during the Ashdown and Ingram merge I returned to focusing on the North Queensland Region. We had 3 cities with both an Ashdown and an Ingram branch in operation - Cairns, Townsville and Rockhampton.   We decided to split our Townsville branches coverage and opened 2 new branches, 1 in Cairns and 1 in Mackay. I looked after these 3 and was also given responsibility for Rockhampton

  Was promoted to branch manager in May 1992. Our branch was based in South Townsville until it's relocation to Garbutt in 1997. The branch serviced at the time North to Weipa, South to Sarina and West to Mount Isa
