Youth Leader

I was responsible for the planning and running of the sessions for a large group of young teenagers one evening a week and during holiday periods. This included the management and organisation of volunteers and delegating tasks. This was a successful youth club that grew over this period of time and was at the heart of the community in supporting and running village events. I volunteered for the Childrens Society for three years while studying at University. I was proud to work for this charity which offers a vital life line to children of all faiths and none, including children at risk on the streets, disabled children, young refugees, young carers or those within the youth justice system. During my time volunteering and fundraising I could see a real positive change to young lives who have had a difficult start to life.
