  Starting straight away, I was tasked with developing a HTML5/CSS3/jQuery front-end and back-end to a product they currently had, but wanted to create a new web-based generation of. This involved designing a new interface, navigation and incorporating AJAX calls for database operations. I eventually grew into the role and took a key role on the latest generation of the the product, responsible for development, testing, implementation and support of the product.

  I worked in a three man development team, produce a new version of their in-house business software. I was involed in some aspects of the design phase but mainly in the implementation and testing of the software. The software was produced using the Sencha as the front end, which is an extremely powerful Javascript framework. The back end was powered by web services and business objects coded in C# accessing a MS SQL database. Due to the small team, I managed to get stuck in to all areas and was allowed the freedom to think for myself and produce my own solutions to problems I faced.
