I worked with Mark within the Supply Chain team at Lidl from late 2016 until mid 2018. While in different teams, we worked very closely together on many facets of Lidl Supply Chain. Mark mentored & developed a brand new team of administrators and took them from Lidl newbies to accomplished & competent team members within this time. His previous Lidl experiences were pivotal to the successful opening of a new 44,000 SQM food retail distribution centre and the ongoing development of the team he left behind. Not only was working with Mark, in a professional capacity, seamless & rewarding, but socially he was so approachable, confident & so down to earth. Talking football & rugby on a Monday day was always enjoyable. He made the workplace a brighter & more dynamic environment with his larger than life personality. Sorely missed since leaving but thoroughly deserves this new challenge. Top bloke.

I would recommend Mark for any role, particularly as a manager of people. His training is always on point, clear, thorough and easy to understand, but he also cares a lot about the people he manages as well as the tasks that both he and his team need to complete. Mark’s door is always open for any issues and he will go to any required length to give a helping hand. Mark will always listen to any ideas presented to him, and will consider them carefully before deciding if these ideas can make an improvement to either a certain task or the business itself. But as well as considering ideas put to him, Mark always looks for ways to improve both a company and himself, and excels in thinking outside the box. He analyses things strategically and carefully and always has reason behind any ideas he may have.
