Since the inception of 3-D Matrix as a spinoff from MIT in Massachusetts in 2004, 3-D Matrix has grown to become leading global peptide solutions company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, with offices serving the Americas, Europe and Asia. PuraStat is a synthetic haemostatic material in the form of a prefilled syringe. It is indicated for haemostasis in the following situations encountered during surgery, when haemostasis by ligation or standard means is insufficient or impractical:Bleeding from small blood vessels and oozing from capillaries of the parenchyma of solid organsOozing from vascular anastomoses.Bleeding from small vessels and oozing from capillaries of the GI tract.Reduction of delayed bleeding following gastrointestinal endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) procedures in the colon.

      BTG have taken the decision to re-focus activities and concentrate on clinical studies with PneumRx to build long term value. Therefore the entire commercial operation has ceased to operate in its current format and the Sales and Marketing teams have been let go. My business was one of only 2 regions in the world that had significant growth year on year, which I believe in the current environment is a significant achievement.
