*2017 Salesman of the Year*1/8/18 Promoted to Southeast Sales RepresentativeCurrently working remotely to cover the Southeast territory, which consists of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. I visit with customers to find out their needs or new projects they are working on. These projects can consist of finished prototypes like; shampoos, conditioners, or lotions. I then take that information to our Technical Department to see if we can offer any help or alternative materials. If there are no new projects, I will try and promote any new products we may have. I typically travel 3-4 days out of the week, as face to face meetings is the best way to build trust with your customer. Follow ups consist of phone calls, emails, or dropping by with some doughnuts. Having a boss who gives me the freedom to create great relationships with out any heavy pressure.

I started at as an Inside Sales Representative learning the personal care market and what it has to offer. When I would complete my outbound phone calls or emails. I would spend time in the R&D facility learning how to make finished products. This was extremely beneficial on what raw materials we were selling and how they are used in specific formulas. This would range from a cold process emulsion for a lotion to 30 ingredient hair waxes.

I came back to Chicago with intentions of taking over this business from my Father. We worked well together for a couple years, I lost my passion for the industry. I was able to obtain even more skills with helping customers when they just had a bad day. Getting in an accident is never fun and I would always relay confidence so they could feel comfortable leaving their car in good hands. These traits will come with me in all my future ventures. Driving Limos in the condensed city of Charleston, SC taught me how drive larger vehicles in small spaces and how to interact with people from all over the world. I was fortunate enough to meet some very interesting people from Celebrities, Business Executives, and families looking to have fun in a great historical city. Having this job showed me that I can fit in the Business world and what motivated me to move my career from the Auto Body Industry to Business to Business Sales. As most of my passengers were on trips with their companies and it always fascinated me.

I was moved into the office to their new location when it opened in the beginning of January 2014. I learned how work with CCCone estimating software, how to write estimates for State Farm, Allstate, and Geico, and I learned how to delegate tasks to employees. I will keep stressing how much I learned at every position and every customer service experience is always different. Each time is a new learning experience. I worked here as a Body Shop helper, learning the tricks of the trade. I spent a majority of time learning how to properly repair damaged parts from bumpers, to core supports, to body panels. I was moved to Parts Manager half way through, which I learned a lot of phone skills. I would call vendors making sure parts were being delivered so cars would be delivered in time. Work consisted of Prepping parts for paint, masking cars off for paint, cleaning cars for delivery. I would Remove and Install parts that were damaged, color, sand, and buff cars after the painting process, and help customers when they would prick up and drop off their vehicles . The biggest lesson I learned here was how to help customers when something didn't go as planned. Work consisted of Prepping parts for paint, masking cars off for paint, cleaning cars for delivery.
