  I am responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Payable Department over seeing two staff members that process over 1,000 pay vouchers per month. I am Liaison between Accounts Payable and the IT department for People Soft Finance. I do the integration testing when there is a system upgrade. I am also the liaison to our procurement department for issue that arise with purchase orders. I also am the financial liaison for the District's six charter school. This entails processing their funding each month and compiling their audit data each yo for transmittal to the Colorado Department of Education. I update the charters on any funding changes form state and federal sources so they may account correctly for these changes. I do account reconciliation for all the liability accounts for our twelve different governmental funds. I work with our external auditors to gather information they request for audit field work. In 2019, I took aver management of our fixed asset system in People Soft. This entails loading the loading of the assets into the system once invoice payment is made. Another aspect of this process is disposing of assets based on the online disposable process and forms submitted by departments. I also do the monthly depreciation entries.
