      Young Enterprise Scotland had a number of programme areas that allow us to work with 20,000 young people each year. My role at this stage worked both strategically and operationally with a team of Programme Executives who lead from the front on delivery and networks. Young people will enhance their personal development skills, team skills, improve problemsolving skills and develop leadership and presentation skills.Colleges (Bridge 2 Business) - YE Scotland works within the further education sector to provide studentsfirst hand engagement with appropriate entrepreneurial role models and coaching. Alongside theopportunity to meet and engage with role models the programme will help connect college students with the great networks that exist in Scotland to support our much needed start-up businesses.Pathways Programmes - Our Pathway Programme combine practical experiences with personaldevelopment support to stimulate the capacity for young people to ’learn through doing’.       This role had a wide ranging scope over the contract. Three MLD institutions were merging. The project involved setting up the logistics behind this project and support there in. I facilitated setting up school and volunteer groups to address various material and cosmetic targets within the merger. The challenge was to work with the various bodies aligned with an MLD school. These included the teaching staff, PSAs, HR, City Building and the parents of the children themselves. This gave me a real exposure and understanding of people with learning difficulties and the challenges they face.
