Directed 150+ Marines and 500 volunteers, ensured safety, security and logistical support for 130+aircraft and 136,000 visitors spanning the 3-day event. Oversaw construction of a 5,000-foot long artificial runway. Attained all regulatory requirements, including FAA waivers, flight plans, restricted areas and noise abatement procedures for all participating pilots including the US Navy Blue Angels. Officer in Charge of Tactical Air Command Center (TACC) Battle Staff Designed and managed construction of a $1M command and control training center, recruited 106 Officers and Marines 2-years ahead of schedule. Director of Safety and Standardization Awarded the Chief of Naval Operations Annual Safety Award for an outstanding safety program and achieved 37,000 mishap-free flight hours. Aircraft Maintenance Officer; Director of Maintenance Motivated the largest department in the Heavy Lift Helicopter Squadron, 10 Maintenance divisions, 12 officers and 120 enlisted personnel.
