  Hired as a web development intern on June 5, 2023 by the Planning and Development Office of the Bulacan State University and assigned as a team member of the DAICU (Data Analytics, and Intelligence & Connectivity Unit) wherein I my knowledge and skills in web development is greatly improved with the help and mentorship of the DAICU's Senior Web Developers Michael John Mabanta MSIT, Neil Bryan Pador CCpE and Dave Salvador CCpE. Throughout my internship with the PDO-DAICU I learned how to utilize React.js, a JavaScript framework as a primary tool in developing web applications with the use of Material UI as the UI pack. In a span of 6 weeks I am tasked to add features, integrate and improve the BulSU PIPs (Public Investment Program) a web application intended to help the officials of the Bulacan State University on their project proposals aimed for the development and improvement of the facilities throughout Bulacan State University. Throughout my internship I add useful features necessary to improve user experience such as adding a toggle to view and hide the password input by the user, adding a limit input for the phone number (limited to only 11 numbers), telephone number (limited to only 10) and local number (limited to only 4). Most importantly my skills on using CSS progressed as I am tasked to develop web responsiveness of various element present on the web app such as the user's profile icon and project viewer that requires to be mobile ready. As a final job for the last weeks of my internship, I am tasked to design and develop a new landing page for the BulSU PIPs Web Application along with one of my workmate wherein I developed sections using React.js for the structuring and CSS for the landing page's design and aesthetics. Lastly I finished the internship successfully as I designed the Home page's login and admin page using figma and developed it on VS Code using React.js and CSS. Show less
