    • Trauma Therapist Facilitator / Social Worker
      • Oct 2010 - Jun 2012

As an account of Children's Chance for Tomorrow's Foundation (CCTF), I am proud to represent a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing care and support to disadvantaged and marginalized children in the Philippines. Our foundation offers various programs and services such as residential care, education, counseling, and livelihood support to help these children achieve a better future. In 2012, CCTF received accreditation from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) for our commitment to providing high-quality services to our beneficiaries. This accreditation is a testament to our foundation's dedication to meeting and exceeding the standards set by the government in providing care and support to vulnerable children. One of our key accomplishments is our facilitation of trauma therapy. Under our supervision and with the guidance of Australian licensed trauma therapist Dr. David Grill, we were able to provide trauma therapy to 62 clients in our residential facility. This therapy was instrumental in helping the children heal from past traumatic experiences and move forward towards a brighter future. We also prioritize proper case management to ensure that the 62 residential children receive the necessary support and care they need. Our commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of each child's progress and needs helps us to provide personalized care and support to each child. Through our efforts, we were able to successfully reintegrate 15 children back into their families and refer 16 children to other institutions that were better equipped to meet their needs. These achievements are a testament to our dedication to ensuring that each child receives the best possible care and support. Show less

As an individual who has been actively involved in the Unang Hakbang Foundation, I have witnessed firsthand the impact that the foundation has had on the lives of disadvantaged communities. Through my involvement with the Computer Literacy Program, I was able to successfully pilot the program to provide computer education to 148 out of school children for a year. This achievement has helped these children acquire essential digital skills and increase their chances of employment opportunities in the future. I have also contributed to the foundation's growth by maintaining a well-established rapport with the community. Through my efforts, the number of clients has increased by 50%, and we were able to build trust and credibility with the foundation's beneficiaries. Another significant contribution I have made is my effective facilitation of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) program to 186 out of school youth in Mandaluyong City. Through my dedication to ensuring that each student receives personalized attention and care, they were able to acquire the necessary skills to pursue further education or find employment. Overall, my contributions to Unang Hakbang Foundation have been a fulfilling experience. My commitment to excellence, dedication to the welfare of the community, and passion for education have allowed me to make a positive impact on the lives of the foundation's beneficiaries. I look forward to continuing my involvement with the foundation and contributing to its mission to provide education and livelihood opportunities to disadvantaged communities. Show less
