I work mainly with the rare book collection, which is currently being reclassified from Library of Congress call numbers to a call number system based on date of publication. In the course of reclassification, I see books in a range of conditions, often with broken or missing boards. Such damaged books I wrap in paper and fabric tape binders. This both protects the book and makes it easy to locate on the shelf. I am also refreshing and expanding my book-repair skills in the general collection. Shenk's Foods's major product is a fat-free, low-cholesterol spreadable Pennsylvania-German style cheese. This cheese is made in small batches (250-500 lbs per batch; 3 batches per week on average) for a mostly local clientele. I supervised manufacture and shipment of this cheese and other food products in small (<5 employee) company. Recorded and analyzed production metrics, edited process manual accordingly. Created production handbook and logs. Shenk's Foods's major product is a fat-free, low-cholesterol spreadable Pennsylvania-German style cheese.
