  Inventory of vegetation and related tasks in forests and mires in Finland. The tasks included locating field plots, separating vegetation patterns, determining habitat, forest and mire types, and assessing the aquatic status of the forest. The species determination of vascular plants, mosses and lichens and the assessment of species masking in vegetation samples and the assessment of the structure of the wood and shredded layer were a key part of the work tasks.
