  Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands Research into primary school pupils' learning results for history and geography with regard tot knowledge and skills in historical and geographical thinking. This research is carried out by a consortium of the UvA, the Kohnstammin Institute, UU and Cito. We hope the outcomes will lead to a dialogue about the content, quality and level of education and will offer useful insights to schools, school boards, policy makers and developers of textbooks and assessment.
