      • Jan 2015 - Jul 2022

Throughout my university years, I took on various roles to support myself and gain valuable experience in customer-facing positions. As a hostess for events with several job agencies, I learned how to handle challenging situations with grace and professionalism, while maintaining a welcoming and friendly demeanor. My role as a waitress at the Hop Store Pub taught me the importance of teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. I also worked as a promoter, cashier at Unicoop, and sales advisor at a museum, where I honed my skills in customer care, sales techniques, and multitasking. These experiences taught me how to manage my time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently to deliver high-quality results. Overall, my varied experiences have helped me develop strong communication and interpersonal skills, while also instilling a deep sense of professionalism and dedication to achieving my goals. I am confident that these skills will serve me well in any future endeavors, and I am excited to continue learning and growing as a professional. Show less

    • Erasmus for Traineeship at Synchrotron Radiation Research Physics Department
      • Feb 2021 - Jul 2021

As part of my Erasmus program, I had the opportunity to undertake a curricular internship with Prof. Lundgren at Lund University and Massimo Innocenti at Florence University. The project focused on studying the behavior of nickel superalloys, including Inconel 625, in extreme conditions, and understanding the corrosion processes taking place on the surface. The study was conducted using electrochemical methods such as Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS), combined with more innovative 2D-Surface Optical Reflectivity. We investigated the corrosion products covering the surface using surface-sensitive techniques such as SEM, AFM, and SEM-EDS. This experience provided me with a range of valuable skills, including the design and organization of experiments, the ability to define project goals, and the use and maintenance of various instruments. I gained experience in working independently and using software such as Python, Matlab, and Excel for data analysis and imaging. Additionally, I learned how to write reports and effectively present results. Working on this project allowed me to gain exposure to an international team, and taught me how to manage a project from start to finish, even under stressful conditions. I am proud of what we were able to accomplish and look forward to leveraging the skills and experience gained during my Erasmus program in future endeavors. Show less

    • Russian Interpreter
      • Jan 2016 - Aug 2019

During my time as a Russian interpreter for Pitti Uomo Fair, I provided interpretation services for buyer-seller transactions and customer care. I had the opportunity to work closely with both buyers and sellers to facilitate smooth and effective communication, ensuring that all parties were able to clearly convey their needs and expectations. As an interpreter, I gained valuable experience in adapting my language skills to different settings and audiences, and in maintaining a professional and diplomatic approach to communication. I was able to use my language skills to bridge the cultural gap between Russian buyers and Italian sellers, facilitating successful transactions and building strong relationships. Through my work at Pitti Uomo Fair, I developed a keen understanding of the importance of customer care and the role that effective communication plays in ensuring customer satisfaction. Overall, my experience as a Russian interpreter at Pitti Uomo Fair provided me with valuable insights into the world of international business and the importance of effective communication in achieving success. • Sep 2018 - May 2019

As an intern under the supervision of Professor Innocenti and Emanuele Salvietti at the University of Florence, I had the opportunity to study the behavior of 2D thin films of Mo2S under potential deposition in water. The main objective was to build wafer monolayers of semiconductors and metallic elements on Ag(111) electrodes. During the internship, I gained valuable experience in working in an electrochemical laboratory and using various instruments such as E-ALD and Electrochemical Cell. I also gained a deeper understanding of electrochemical processes and data analysis using Origin software. Additionally, I learned how to work independently in a laboratory setting and operate a Potentiostat (Metrohm) and SEM. This was a crucial learning experience during my Bachelor's degree program.
