When Mariya interviewed for the internship at Archer & Hound, there were three other applicants whom we also interviewed. They were technically more experienced and more qualified, but I could not shake the feeling that Mariya was not only the best fit for our agency but the best of the lot. I love to be proven right, so Mariya is one of my favorite success stories. She is humble, hardworking, and compassionate, but don't let her sweet smile fool you--Mariya is a hustler. She comes from a long line of people who work for what they want, and this trait was immediately evident. Fortunately, she is also a talented writer, with an uncanny knack for understanding client voices. Her sense of humor and interest in music have also afforded her the ability to connect with anyone, an invaluable skill in PR. I knew that Mariya would not be my intern forever, so when she stayed on as part of the social media team, I was overjoyed. She greatly amplified her skills in a short period of time and made herself an asset to our agency, both in social media and in traditional public relations. In doing so, of course, she also made herself an asset at her next position in Sacramento. I am so grateful that our paths crossed, and that we have been able to remain close despite moving on in different directions. Her future is certainly bright, and I hope that you have the chance to experience some of Mariya's light.

I had the privilege to learn and work beside Mariya during my time at Fresno State and at Archer & Hound Advertising. As students in the Mass Communication and Journalism Department, Mariya always showed compassion and a willingness to help other students. She’s whip-smart and a hard worker to boot. Working with Mariya during my time at Archer & Hound was wonderful. She’s kind, funny, and a wonderful coworker. She’s not afraid to dive in to new ideas, trends, or out-of-the-box client requests. Mariya is an incredible sounding board when you have writer’s block or need new ideas for content. She knows her way around talking points, press releases, and getting clients the media coverage they deserve. I would happily work with Mariya anytime.
