Marivic is a tremendous asset to Tobii Dynavox. She makes visits to South Georgia to meet with my graduate students at Valdosta State University every semester. The graduate students are studying Communication Sciences & Disorders and they need hands-on experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices to be prepared as future speech-language pathologists. Marivic presents basic information about the Tobii Dynavox company to the students, demonstrates the newest AAC devices from Tobii Dynavox, and then allows the students to "play" with the devices. The students learn operational features of various AAC options and, overall, get a great introduction to the language framework used by Tobii Dynavox. The students consistently say that Marivic's visit is a highlight of the semester!
