Danube Transnational Programme 2014-2020

  In order to achieve a higher degree of territorial integration of the very heterogeneous Danube region, the transnational cooperation programme acts as a policy driver and pioneer to tackle common challenges and needs in specific policy fields where transnational cooperation is expected to deliver tangible results.Considering its geographical coverage, this highly complex programme provides a political dimension to transnational cooperation which is unique in Europe, successfully facing challenges such as ensuring good mechanisms to contract partners who receive funding from different EU instruments.The Danube Transnational Programme finances projects for the development and practical implementation of policy frameworks, tools and services and concrete small-scale pilot investments. Strong complementarities with the broader EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) are sought.The total programme budget is 262 989 839 million euros, including the EU support (221 924 597,00 €) and the national counterpart (41 065 242,00 €).



Hungary-Romania Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2007-2013

  - General task: Manage projects implemented under the following key areas of intervention: Support for cross-border business co-operation, Promotion of co-operation in the field of R+D and Innovation or Co-operation in the labour market and education – joint development of skills and knowledge- Specific tasks: Provide support for project generation, evaluation and implementation in the fields of RD&I, business innovation and knowledge economy, i.e critical assessment of the proposed innovation and action plans; analysis of the proposed feasibility studies in order to determine the project’s economic and technical viability; identification of the implementation process that could achieve the needed functionalities under specific cost, quality and timeliness constraints; establishment of clear roles and incentives for each partner in their effort to certify the quality of the final results;- Ensure an open and inclusive communication between stakeholders with the aim of developing a formal network involving academia, business and government and NGO’s; - Monitoring visits in the border area aiming at motivating the beneficiaries to follow the implementation process and share learning and best practices: present the difficulties encountered, the achievements and the next steps for sustainability at the end of the implementation phase.
