I have known Marius for 18 months, out of which I directly worked with him between May and August of 2012. While acting as a Receptionist for the UPC headquarters in Bucharest, Marius was an essential participant to my and my team’s specific activities, under the following components: a). Supporting the physical security function within the HQ (overseeing the Reception operations and receiving visitors):  Together with the security guards, Marius was amongst the first points of contact during all visitor and employee access into the premise, having to constantly oversee such access, to enter personal identification data into the access registry, as well as to keep open eyes to all actions or inactions in his area of physical security responsibility, notice and immediately notify any attempts or breaches of the company working instructions and procedures issued in this respect.  While performing the above in a highly demanding work environment, Marius proved to be an extremely reliable and trustworthy colleague, very well trained in his area of expertise, an excellent communicator, who provided prompt and above expectations reactions to any questions, requirements and/ or additional instructions I expressed. b). Front desk telephone support:  Marius ensured my desk telephone support by putting through all phone calls and, whenever I was not available in the office, by providing simple, concise and complete messages from my callers. I’ve also had the chance to analyze, in the Reception area, Marius’s interactions with various persons: employees, visitors, customers, even angry customers etc.  On such occasions, he demonstrated a good capacity to quickly and properly address unexpected situations, the ability to speak and interact clearly and convincingly in order to achieve the desired results, and a business conduct which can only be considered as honoring for any professional. c). Receiving and sending required general correspondence (fax, mail, courier, e-mail etc.):  Marius supported me in dealing with all my specific correspondence, both on the sending end, and on the receiving one, especially by making sure that all items were adequately sorted, recorded in the relevant registries, and then promptly sent or handed to the recipient - all of these, to my highest level of expectations.  He is a very analytical person, a very good planner and organizer, with the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Considering the above-mentioned performances, I am delighted to support and recommend Marius for any relevant professional collaboration in his career expectations and pursuits.
