• Spearheaded a company-wide 5S sustain initiative. Responsibilities included developing audit forms, training and coordinating the audit team, and pinpointing areas of improvement for each shop. • Coordinated and led 5S events in multiple facilities. Collaborated with shop employees to implement systematic changes in each shop over the course of multiple days. • Founded companywide safety focus groups as a member of the Safety Committee. Facilitated groups, analyzed trends, and suggested action items to be brought to the attention of the Safety Manager. • Implemented a new tooling storage method in the valve assembly shop. Procured necessary storage space through negotiations with another department after determining optimal storage location and layout.
