-
Mar 2022 - May 2022
Midnight at Pink Lake is an immersive 360 degree art installation, comprising animated projections, spoken word and sound track by award-winning artists The Orbweavers, Gatherer Media and The Electric Canvas. Presented over two night at 2022 Art After Dark in the State Library of Victoria LaTrobe Reading Room, the installation attracted more than 10,000 visitors. "Immerse yourself in the Library’s Dome as our iconic 360-degree after-dark projections return for two nights only. Be transported through the city and over bridges to tidal saltmarsh pools, exploring the colours, sounds and beauty of these unique ecosystems." For this project, The Orbweavers wrote, recorded and produced spoken word, music and soundscape, and created visual art for the 360 degree immersive projection in collaboration with Gatherer Media and Electric Canvas.

Creative Fellow
-
Apr 2016 - Apr 2019
A creative research project as The Orbweavers with fellow artist Stuart Flanagan, researching Melbourne's waterways in the western Melbourne region. In this project we explored environmental change through the impacts of industrialisation, and the lives of people who lived and worked along these waterways through the 19th and 20th centuries. Our research was focused on the Birrarung and Maribyrnong rivers, Moonee Ponds, Stony and Skeleton creeks. The project has resulted in a suite of songs and video works inspired by this research. The songs, accompanied by visuals, debuted in a special performance at the State Library.
