May 2022 - Present
In this position, I support programs put on by Autism Community Connection. We have a summer program for children on the autism spectrum and small groups of young adults that meet monthly. During this past summer camp, the other Program Assistant and I led group activities and supervised other staff members. It has been very rewarding to help provide people with autism a safe space to be themselves and build relationships with peers.
