As a Youth and Family Advocate, it is my job to meet with clients in home as I work with children who deal with disorders, trauma and everyday stress to teach them how to develop coping skills and learn communication skills. I also work with the family as a unit to learn to work together through good communication and understanding of each individual and their particular needs.
