I collaborated with Marissa on several projects and events for Latino Outdoors, Hermanas, United for Change (student club, Northern Arizona University) and the Coconino Hispanic Advisory Council (C.H.A.C.) For these organizations she planned and organized events that included the Flagstaff Latinx community and Northern Arizona University students and clubs. For community diversity projects and events, she has presented and submitted several funding proposals to the Coconino Hispanic Advisory Council, which were approved. She was a pleasure to work with, intelligent, responsive, team player and proficient all describe Marissa. She was constantly coming up with excellent ideas and anything we threw her way, she planned, executed duties, recruited volunteers, managed event details, without complaint and efficiently. She provides honest feedback and has creative ideas to enhance efficiency and has always succeeded meeting goals for projects, event and personal goals. I highly recommend Marissa, she positively enhances and contributes to any group, employment or projects she participates in.
