As a kayak and canoe brands representative, I was required to learn the stats on the boats, test them out to understand the craft better, and listen to customers on what they wanted and selecting the perfect boat for them. Along with purchasing a canoe or a kayak, I would educate customers on the required gear that was needed to use the kayak. Sometimes I would spend hours with people to ensure that they were comfortable with what they were purchasing.
