During my time at Pearson, I had the fortune of working with Marisa on many complex projects. Marisa is one of the most personally and professionally accountable people I have met. She drives every project or initiative for which she is a participant and acts as a role model for others on the team. Team members constantly seek her out for guidance and mentoring and she always makes herself available to them, regardless of her own work load. Marisa is the ultimate problem solver. Her superior planning skills allow her to solve potential problems before they happen. However, should an issue arise Marisa doesn't give up until she finds a solution. Marisa is an absolute pleasure to work with and an asset to any company.

Project management is often compared to juggling three balls: time, cost, and quality. Marisa has not only mastered this fine art, but also makes it look easy by delivering high quality products consistently on time and on budget. Since I hired her four years ago, Marisa has proven herself to be a smart, dependable, and dedicated project manager. She is able to perceptively plan and build in contingencies for unexpected situations. Moreover, Marisa is a strong leader who takes initiative and is always willing to provide thoughtful suggestions to help the team improve. Her deep knowledge is highly valued and her useful contributions are very important to our team's success. I remain impressed with Marisa's readiness to take on new challenges with a positive attitude, tireless energy, and sincere enthusiasm. She is particularly good at managing projects, developing processes, creating guidelines, and training materials others can easily follow. Marisa would be a true asset for any positions that require content development, production editorial, and/or media-based skills. Since she can keep so many balls in the air at once, Marisa comes with my heartfelt recommendation.
