Marion has spent her internship from June to August 2020 in my research group under my supervision exploring the greenhouse gas balances of drained peatland forests in Northern Sweden. She participated in measuring greenhouse gas emissions from soils with a portable gas analyzer and in collecting meteorological as well as soil and vegetation environmental data in the field. She performed all tasks with great determination, care and in an effective manner. She was curious and showed interest in acquiring new knowledge and skills, and asked for clarifications when needed. She is reliable and has a friendly and polite social nature.
