I know Mario for about 6 -7 year working at Oikocredit. While I took care of India operations, Mario headed the South America Northern Region. During my interactions I noticed his commitment for development finance and deep understanding of the Latin American markets. I used to admire his client centric approach. He is very good at project conceptualization, involving right people and implementation. His contribution is well remembered and highly appreciated. I also used to admire is understanding of complex issues and ask right questions. Wish him all the best. Regards. Gour Sankar

During most part of my professional journey, I used to say that I had difficulty to find leaders who I could mirror myself in. This was until I started working with Mario. The combination of his professionalism, humanity and competence makes him the kind of leader every institution should have or, at least, try to develop. Very commited and target driven, during our five years of work, we successfully delivered all the objectives proposed by the company. I definitely recommend him as a professional and, most of all, as a person. I really hope we could work together again in the future.
