Everyone knows people who are talking a lot, but don't do anything. Mario always gave me the feeling and the experience that he can talk a lot to. But not only that he talks the walk, he pushes things forward and brings them into action. He masters little things as big things with outstanding results. Sure, he uses the 80/20 rule to its perfection. But there is no doubt to me that, base on his experience and knowledge, his 80 are still much more than any 100 of others. And never mind, he knows when he has to give 100. His professional skills, paired with a great humor, with the right attitude to life, makes Mario definitely to someone you should and want to know. If you had the chance to work with him, do it. You can learn a lot and you can have much fun. Plutarch: "....he declared that they had no sense if they did not see in this boy many Mariuses."

Mario leads by example. He is very knowledgeable and open which has made him such a great collaborator for me in getting stuff done. Mario builds trust, there is no bull.... no politics. Mario can be relied on to give an honest and informed opinion. Everything that Mario and I agreed, he delivered even where this involved him working late into the night. Mario is a manager who brightens your day, ever optimistic, always keen to help and with a ready sense of humour. He has demonstrated his sales traits of persistence and staying power through challenging times where resources have been tight and this has been recognised and rewarded through his recent promotion by the Chief Commercial Officer. Mario was conscientious in ensuring his weekly commercial sales disciplines were delivered and pro-active in the annual budgeting processing, building his own spreadsheets to make the task easier to manage. Mario is keen to listen, learn and improve. In Q4 he worked hard with his sales team to improve the accuracy of the quarterly forecasting and delivered a performance which was within 2%, and positive, of his forecast. Mario has been a major contributor to one of the overall best performance the company has ever had.
