      RESPONSIBILITIES: • Construction Project Manager that is accountable to the production of allocated homes from backfill to closing • Evaluate quality of material and workmanship installed, ensure contractors complete any outstanding deficiencies noted • Ensure that construction work is performed in accordance with drawings, specifications, Scopes, Construction details and CPG • Ensure that construction is performed in a safe manner and completed on schedule • Perform and/or manage checklists are complete including, Builder Frame Checklist, 1st Handy, 2nd Handy, Builder Punchout Checklists, Move-in Ready, Pre-delivery Inspections • Manage all Sales Details (e.g. Option & Extras) and colors on homes in production to ensure they are being built to the details and Caivan Performance guidelines • Manage City Inspections as required and report issues to Senior Project Manager • Perform daily quality checks on production homes • Assist the Senior Project Manager with overall site management • Mentor, manage, delegate and assign tasks to direct staff • Ensure POs and VPOs issued and approved prior to commencement of work • Ensure direct reports have required materials and tools to be able to complete work orders • Ensure all safety requirements are always met • Resolve and manage day-to-day problems on the job site (as they arise) • Work with Senior Project Manager to ensure drawings are updated to reflect actual building practices and details through Architectural Ticket process • Work in conjunction with Caivan Communities staff to establish a team approach to quality • Advise the Senior Project Manager of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, etc. assist in circumventing /resolving such problems, as required • Site cleanup and cleanliness • Meet with Senior Project Manager and staff to conduct performance reviews • Mentor handyman and labourer • Build relationships with trade partners Show less
