  The SBDC provides free small business counseling to small business owners and to those who are thinking about starting a small business. Topics include entreprenership, "the paperwork," business plans, budgets, marketing, advertising and taxes. The SBDC also offers 3- and 6-hour non-credit seminars on the above topics. The Small Business Management program (SBM) is 10-month long "nano-MBA," open only businesses that have survived 2 years and have good accounting records.
