Privacy and Commercial role Privacy: this interesting role allows me to help on a variety of matters including DPIAs, ROPAs, negotiation of Data Processing and Data Sharing Agreements with suppliers and customers in more than 100 countries, researching on international data protection legislation, helping on complex and challenging Subject Access Requests, advising senior members on data protection legislation and its risks as well as drafting Privacy Policies among other tasks. Liaising with the DPO to make sure we are aligned. I also help on FOIA, other privacy-related pieces of legislation, Electronic Communications and others. Commercial: I have the opportunity of reviewing, drafting and negotiating various agreements including MSAs, EULAs, Licenses, NDAs, Supply of Goods and Services Agreements among others. I usually work with Procurement even though I also get involved in customer contracts. I do enjoy advising the business on the risks carried by each agreement for which my commercial awareness is key. Public Procurement: I do not spend that much time on this area as I used to in my previous life but I still get to review tenders and advise on existing legislation. Show less

In charge of distributors in EMEA, making sure that the Channel Partners complied with our Distributor Agreements.
