For a decade I have made plastic objects that look like the real thing. Then I was able to create metallic objects that were functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. I Load CNC lathe, mill and multi-axis machinery to produce precision metallic parts within 0.00001 of an inch. This includes inspection of parts using pins, calipers, micrometers, OGP optical comparator and CMM. Daily maintenance was required of Mori Seiki equipment(SL-603, NL-3000, Duracenter 5 and NT 42000). If the parts require immediate shipment, I lend a hand burring, hand tapping and finish work before metal plating if required. My precision skills led me to be trusted with parts requiring extreme tolerances. I mostly work with stainless steel (17-4 and 18-3) but appreciate days with aluminium. Exotic metals like Inconel require extreme attentiveness. I love precision as perfectionist! Show less

We are responsible for models during any stage of design. Schematic study models to presentation models of museums, airports and other large public spaces with lasercut precision and 3d printing.Responsibilities included coordinating consultant information related to architecture with demanding time schedules and complicated requirements. Experienced modelmaker constructing scale models of various stages of the design process. I have the capabilities to create detailed models during schematic design from only hand sketches. Lasercutter and 3D printing allow skills to be as precise as 0.007 of an inch for accurate detailed models. Cost estimation and safety program implementation became a high priority as senior modelmaker position was achieved. This advanced shop knowledge has led to better shop maintenance as well. Show less
