Identification of new potential therapeutic targets to modulate the thalamocortical circuit in psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia, ADHD, and Autism. By using single-cell RNA sequencing, brain slice physiology, pharmacology, in vivo EEG recordings and behavioral assays, we are proposing the T-C circuit as one of the main candidates to rescue significant deficits in schizophrenia, ASD/ADHD mouse model.
