During my PhD, I performed 2D numerical simulations on the bubbles and/or solid bodies dynamics near a surface in melting glass. I used a boundary-element method coupled with a front-tracking technique and the code was written in Fortran. The goal of this numerical and theoritical study was to examine the interface evolution in time as well as the drainage of the film taking place between the bubbles and the surface. An asymptotic analysis was developped to complete the numerical analysis. Experimental study of drop impinging on superhydrophobic micropattern substrates at high weber number (drops with high impact velocity). Two non newtonien fluids were used, cornstarch and a Carbopol polymer and movies of the falling were shot using a speed camera. The images analysis were performed with Matlab.
