Attended lectures from scientists around the world about topics in the field of theoretical andexperimental particle physics and computing.Had a project with the title “Designing signal-enriched triggers for boosted jets with the ATLAS detector.”where I studied triggers designed to favor the selection of hadronically decaying massive particles and investigated triggers using solely ET and mass cuts and triggers exploiting polarization information.Additionally, I made use of the TMVA multivariate analysis toolkit to study the impact of Boosted Decision Trees and Neural Networks in discriminating particles with different polarizations.
